AIMing in my life.

so a few random thought floating around in my head...
1. being an AIMer does not mean once i leave brazil i am done being a missionary. i have to focus on continuing showing Christ to others. ALL of my life
2. it is going to be really hard to say goodbye to my friends and go to Brazil.
3. i am terrified to go to brazil!
4. GOD IS IN CONTROL!!! (or at least that is what i keep trying to convince myself of.)

past couple weeks

sorry i have not posted! it has been crazy busy! we have had final and two trips! our first trip we went to riduso new mexico, and had a class retreat. and we just got back from Paducah Kentucky. i helped re build someones house that had been flooded since may.we sheetrocked the whole house! it was extreamly tiring but it was worth it to see how blessed the family felt. it is such an amazing feeling to know that you have helped someone out. we then had a 5 hour and 12 hour drive home... 5 hours to arkansas then 12 hours home. we stopped in dallas and ate at in and out burger... never had heard of them before it wasnt bad. i am going to keep it short tonight if you have questions comment and ask:)

well i am officially fired from blogging... sorry:/ it has been busy!
two weeks ago we went to amherst texas and clovis new mexico..(my home church for the next few months:)) we had some awesome fellowship and AMAZING singing... then this past weekend we went to denver sity to a youth rally. there were close to 700 kids there!!! it was amazing.. i then went on to clovis for church sunday.we had an amazing time there:) we made picture bulletin boards and went swimming with the youth group.. then we had a huge devo at the youth ministers house.. there was around 62 kids!!! now off to more homework!! midterms start wednesday!! and then next week we have our first class retreat!:)

first day of classes

tooday was our first day of classes. it was a great day. our first class started out with all of us doing a meet and greet thing, then we all sat down (we had number) and when the teacher called out a number that person went and stood in the front and we all said something nice and good about that person. our teacher (gibby) called out number 12 and no one went up.. he paused and said this is number 12. they then played a video. with jesus getting flogged and crucified. it hit a huge nerve, i just sat there and cried. what a great reminder of what he did for us. then we had brown bag, where aimers out in the field send us letters of encouragements. it was really cool. tonight we meet the elders. so i am doing my homework now so i can have friend time after church:)

AIM

i made it to texas. i am loving it so far. the weather is kinda a drag. but i am slowly getting used to it. i love AIM. i lovvvee my roomate. i am making new friends. jared, steven, and mary, and kaylin and i are gonna be great friends i can just feel it:) classes are starting tomorrow. the only thing that has gone bad, was last night someone went spastic and kept us up all night with his stupid car alarm. he was so immature. 2:30 in the morning it was ridiculus. grrrrrrr haha but everything is fine:)


ohhh and since kaylin wanted to be in my post....

just a few more days!

well i am a few days until take off! things are starting to come together! i am all packed, staying with my great gramma and am getting VERY excited to leave. just need to get the moving away from home jitters out of my system! haha getting there!

back into the blogging world.

i am going to blog about my experinces in AIM!!! i want something to look back on when i am done, and bring back some memories, i hope that if people read it that it will make them laugh and possibly have confused faces so they will ask questions about what i am doing. if you read this blog i would love to have comments and hear from you! thanks!
